(nearly)17yo, homeschooled, founded in Christ, implacable accent, working towards becoming a surgical PA or, if I can make it, a pediatric surgeon. Scatterbrained, vegetarian, 5'1, uncreative, gullible, can't tell if people are joking, goofy, recidivistic pseudo-drunkenness with exhaustion, a bit timid, my own worst enemy; lover of the BSA Venturing program, children, my family, animals, and plants, and especially learning about the world. National Geographic, Voice of the Martyrs, anything I can get my hands on. My fascination with all things alive and of the world has led me to passionately pursue endeavors related to children, animals, plants, and especially art.
I seriously wanted to call myself 'AwkwardJigsaw-piece' but the point of creating this account was to inspire a bit more seriousness towards my gallery and art. "Brittng" was too boring though.
I'm restlessly striving to acquire the artistic ability that would enable me through my art to inspire awe, courage, warmth, even inner strength or integrity; and to bring a more potent awareness to the things that I feel are worth bringing to light or changing. Yuumei (Wenqing Yan) continues to be my biggest inspiration on this front, as well as other outspoken and extremely skilled artists, able to undeceptively stir up the human heart to their causes simply by presenting them in ways I cannot even fathom creating with my own hands.
1 Corinthians 13; the greats of these is love. Luke 9:23; to die to myself, to take up my cross daily. And I search for the place where He dwells.
